This beard blog is meant to be fun but there is purpose behind it. The idea is to promote the efforts of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Through their work LLS's goal is to "cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families." Together with Team In Training and other fundraising programs LLS is able to provide immediate help to families affected by blood cancers and will one day acheive the goal of finding a cure through the research they fund.
So, if you would like to join the fight against cancer please donate through the link on the right side of the page and read about all of the work LLS is doing to prevent blood cancers from destroying more lives.
Everyone is capable of helping either by donating, forwarding this information to family, friends and co-workers or by getting involved through one of LLS's programs.
